I approached The Dental Centre Bury after breaking half of my tooth off, I was very conscious as you could see my old, horrible, grey filling whenever I laughed or smiled. From the initial consultation to the actual procedure, everything was explained in detail to me, and i was made to feel safe and cared for. I was offered a brand new procedure. Basically, instead of replacing the old filling with another, i was offered a 3D printed tooth. I took a day off work which I didn't actually need to do - I attended the clinic at 10am for a scan of my tooth, removal of the old filling and placement of a temporary cap whilst the new tooth was 3D printed. I was called back at 2pm and left at 3pm with a brand new tooth! This did cost more than a conventional filling but it is 100% worth it, you could see the chipped tooth and old grey filling when i laughed or smiled, with this 3D printed tooth the colour is matched perfectly to your other teeth so you wouldn't know it wasn't my real tooth. This procedure was done in 1 day, which is absolutely incredible!
